Guy Pearce, Catalina Sandino Moreno and Cloris Leachman are lined up to star in “Mis-Fits,” a quirky black comedy written and helmed by L.D. Napier and expected to begin filming next year.
Doug Claybourne (“The Fast and Furious”) and Make It Happen Prods. will produce the film, which follows the adventures of a detective who specializes in tracking down the dead relatives of his clients.
Seymour Cassel and Virginie Leydoyen also will appear in the film by Napier, a novelist, playwright and filmmaker (“Every 21 Seconds”) making her feature helming debut.
Affonso Beato (“The Queen”) is tapped as d.p., with Richard Hoover on board for production design.
“Mis-Fits” aims to begin principal photography in May.
