Lisa Gutberlet has been promoted to VP of distribution for Myriad Pictures, responsible for worldwide sales of feature films.
She’ll report directly to Kirk D’Amico, prexy-CEO of the production, financing and distribution company.
She was previously executive director at Myriad.
“Lisa is a very committed and proactive sales executive, with excellent client relationships and a great deal of enthusiasm for her work. She has extensive experience in the international area and has proven herself on the sales front for us,” D’Amico said.
Gutberlet, who was born in Germany, joined Myriad in 2007 from the Weinstein Co., where she worked in the legal affairs department. Prior to that, she worked in sales for Turner Broadcasting in Paris and Frankfurt.
Gutberlet and D’Amico will travel to the Toronto Film Festival next week, where they’ll be shopping several titles to foreign buyers, including Kevin Spacey-Jeremy Irons-Zachary Quinto topliner “Margin Call” and Brendan Gleeson-Stephen Curry starrer “The Cup.”
