Mark Gordon has tapped Jennifer Todd as president of motion pictures at his eponymous banner, The Mark Gordon Co.
She’ll be a partner in the company along with Deb Spera, current president of television.
Todd’s new gig comes after 13 years of partnering with her sister Suzanne Todd under the Team Todd shingle. The Todds produced “Alice in Wonderland,” “Across the Universe,” the Austin Power films and “Memento.” The Todds and Gordon partnered on “Prime.”
Jennifer Todd will also bring several projects with her for Team Todd to produce with Gordon.
“She has impeccable taste, a fantastic eye for talent and there isn’t a person in town who doesn’t love working with her,” Gordon said in a statement.
Gordon’s credits include “Saving Private Ryan,” “The Day After Tomorrow,” “2012,” “The Messenger,” “The Painted Veil,” “The Patriot,” “Speed” and “Wonder Boys.” Upcoming films include “The Details,” starring Tobey MacGuire and Laura Linney; “Source Code,” starring Jake Gyllenhaall, Michelle Monaghan and Vera Farmiga, and Sony’s Richard Pryor biopic, with Bill Condon directing and Marlon Wayans attached to star.
Gordon exec produces ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Private Practice,” CBS’s “Criminal Minds” and Lifetime’s “Army Wives.”
