Kevin Kline, Diane Keaton, Richard Jenkins and Elisabeth Moss will star in indie drama-comedy “Darling Companion” for Werc Werk Works and Likely Story.

Lawrence Kasdan is directing from a script he co-wrote with spouse Meg Kasdan. The film will be produced by Anthony Bregman for Likely Story, Elizabeth Redleaf for Werc Werk Works and Lawrence Kasdan; Christine Walker, Meg Kasdan and John Kelly exec produce.

“Darling Companion” focuses on a woman, portrayed by Keaton, who loves her dog more than her husband, played by Kline. The husband then loses the dog after a wedding at their vacation home in the Rockies.

The production is scheduled for a 30-day shoot in Utah beginning later this month.

Meg and Lawrence Kasdan previously teamed to pen “Grand Canyon,” which received an Oscar nom for original screenplay.

Kline most recently starred in “The Extra Man” and will next be seen in “The Conspirator.”

Keaton will next star in Paramount’s “Morning Glory.”

Jenkins most recently starred in “Eat Pray Love”; and Moss won two Emmy nominations for “Mad Men.”
