Carol Kruse has joined ESPN as senior veep of marketing. Kruse comes to the sports cabler after nine years with Coca-Cola Co., where she most recently led the org’s global interactive marketing team as VP. She reports to Sean Bratches, ESPN’s exec veep of sales and marketing.
Adam Block has been upped to exec veep and general manager for Sony Music Entertainment’s Legacy Recordings wing. Block oversees the catalog label’s operations and itsBattery Studios mastering and archive facility in Gotham. Block has been withLegacy since 1992.
HGTV has tapped Kathleen Finch as senior VP and g.m., overseeing all aspects of HGTV’s programming, development and production. She comes to HGTV after holding the same role at HGTV’s sibling cabler DIY Network.
Jeffrey Ulin has joined Autumn Games as exec VP, overseeing game distribution and business affairs. He comes to the company from Lucasfilm, where he served as senior distribution executive.
Comedy Central has upped Arian Sultan Rothman to veep of business and legal affairs for the East Coast. Rothman had been senior director in the department.
Visual f/x firm CIS Hollywood has tapped Liz Ralston as an exec producer. Ralston will oversee all feature production, marketing and client relations.
Ed Poston has been tapped executive of writer/publisher relations for BMI’s European office. Poston, based in London, comes to BMI from Kobalt Music Group.
Cablevision has named Tom Donohue senior veepee of technology. He joins Cablevision after serving as senior VP and chief technology officer for Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S.
Nickelodeon has promoted Trudi Hayward to veep of consumer products for the U.K. and Australia. Hayward had served as vp of European sales for Nickelodeon.
