“Inception” thesp Joseph Gordon-Levitt was injured in New York over the weekend while shooting a scene for the Sony thriller “Premium Rush.”
Levitt, who received thirty-one stitches in the accident, thought the experience was “pretty cool” and posted a video of the bloody aftermath on Tumblr. (ironically)
His caption on the vid:
My first real wreck today. Busted through the rear window of a cab. Luckily got my elbows up. Coulda been way worse. No, but it was my fault, I was going too fast. The director, Dave Koepp, was extremely concerned for my well-being, but I made him RECord the wound. Anyway, Premium Rush is gonna be awesome. Gratuitous ER footage to follow, stay tuned…
“Premium Rush,” directed by David Koep,” tells the tale of a bike messenger (Gordon-Levitt) who receives a mysterious package, piquing the interest of a local cop (Michael Shannon).
