Ed Harris joins Summit’s ‘Man on a Ledge’

Actor to star opposite Worthington and Banks in thriller

Ed Harris is stepping on to “Man on a Ledge,” joining Summit’s cop thriller as a powerful businessman opposite Sam Worthington and Elizabeth Banks.

Project’s due to begin production this weekend with Asger Leth directing from a screenplay penned by Pablo Fenjves and Erich Hoeber and Jon Hoeber. Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Mark Vahradian and David Ready are producing through di Bonaventura Pictures.

Story centers on an ex-cop and now wanted fugitive, portrayed by Worthington, who stands on the ledge of a high-rise building while an NYPD hostage negotiator, played by Banks, tries to talk him down.

Harris is starring in Peter Weir’s “The Way Back,” due out in December, and was seen recently in the indie drama “Touching Home” from Logan and Noah Miller.
