Fans and insiders agreed “Easy A” really made the grade at Screen Gems’ Monday night preem at Grauman’s Chinese.

“I have a horseshoe up my ass, I’m so lucky,” said the banner’s prexy Clint Culpepper of his recent successes. The exec said he was so passionate about Bert V. Royal’s script that he snatched it up within an hour of making an offer.

In fact, “This was originally going to be part of a trilogy,” revealed Royal, who envisions “Easy A” as one in a series of novels updated for the Facebook generation.

Royal and Culpepper were joined by helmer Will Gluck and thesps Emma Stone, Patricia Clarkson and Dan Byrd at the H. Wood after-party. Gluck said his favorite scene to shoot was the pic’s first faux sex scene, which had Stone and Byrd jumping on a bed for hours.

“At the sixth hour, Emma had an asthma attack,” said Gluck, who later learned that it was a case of adult-onset asthma, or as he put it, “adult ‘on set’ asthma.”
