Dimension Films has rounded out the cast of “Scream 4” with shooting starting this week in Michigan and a release date of April 15, 2011 — more than a decade after the release of “Scream 3.”

Wes Craven’s directing from Kevin Williamson’s script with Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox Arquette reprising their roles from the first three pics. Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Marielle Jaffe, Rory Culkin, Nico Tortorella, Erik Knudsen, Marley Shelton, Anthony Anderson, Adam Brody, Alison Brie and Mary McDonnell are also starring.

Craven’s also producing with Iya Labunka. Carly Feingold’s co-producing. The original “Scream” grossed more than $170 million worldwide in 1996; “Scream 2” also took in more than $170 million in 1997 and “Scream 3” topped $160 million after it was released in 2000. Craven helmed all three pics.

Start of production comes a week after Dimension parent The Weinstein Co. finalized a debt restructuring that forgoes ownership of more than 200 library titles in exchange for wiping away $450 million in debt.
