Disney has started wrangling some humans to join its cast of Muppets. Amy Adams, Chris Cooper and Rashida Jones are in talks to join Jason Segel in the untitled comedy.

The Mouse House is readying to start lensing in November under the helm of “The Flight of the Conchords” writer-director James Bobin.

Adams would play the girlfriend to Segel’s character, while Cooper would be the pic’s primary villain, an evil oil tycoon set on destroying the Muppet Theater to drill for the oil he believes it’s sitting on. Jones is said to portray an ABC executive.

Mandeville’s David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman are producing. Segel and Nick Stoller penned the script.
