TCM will wish Clint Eastwood a happy 80th birthday on May 31 with a 24-hour marathon of his movies and the TV bow of Richard Schickel’s docu “The Eastwood Factor.”

The marathon is set to begin at 6 a.m. with Eastwood playing Carol Channing’s love interest in 1956’s “The First Traveling Saleslady.” Other titles slated for the day include Eastwood’s iconic Sergio Leone pics “A Fistful of Dollars,” “For a Few Dollars More” and “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly,” as well as “Dirty Harry.” and “Magnum Force.”

“The Eastwood Factor” bows at 10:30 p.m. The feature-length doc, narrated by Morgan Freeman, was released earlier this year as part of Warner Home Video’s megaset “Clint Eastwood: 35 Films, 35 Years at Warner Bros.” It will also be included with the June 1 homevid release of Eastwood’s latest pic, “Invictus.”
