The 22nd annual Palm Springs Film Fest will fete Michael Douglas with the lifetime achievement Icon Award.

Kudo will be presented at a ceremony on Jan. 13 following an onstage conversation with Variety’s Peter Bart and followed by a screening of “Solitary Man.”

“We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to honor Michael Douglas at a time when both his creative prowess and his contributions to world cinema have never been more evident,” said fest director Darryl Macdonald.

Others set to be honored at the fest, which runs Jan. 6-17, include Ben Affleck, Javier Bardem, Danny Boyle, Colin Firth, Natalie Portman and the cast of “The Social Network.”
