Lionsgate U.K. adds three to slate

Nu Image pics include 'Trust,' 'Stone,' 'Angry'

Lionsgate U.K. has added three Nu Image pics to its 2011 slate. Titles acquired are David Schwimmer’s “Trust,” starring Clive Owen and Catherine Keener; thriller “Stone,” with Robert De Niro, Edward Norton and Milla Jovovich; and “Drive Angry 3D,” toplined by Nicolas Cage.

Lionsgate U.K.’s slate for 2011 also includes Paul Haggis’ “The Next Three Days,” starring Russell Crowe, Liam Neeson and Elizabeth Banks; the untitled Seth Rogan comedy, wiht Anna Kendrick and Joseph Gordon-Levitt and directed by Jonathan Levine; plus the first Lionsgate UK production “Blitz,” starring Jason Statham, alongside Paddy Considine, Aidan Gillen and Mark Rylance.

Forthcoming releases for Lionsgate U.K. include actioner “The Expendables,” directed by Sylvester Stallone and starring Statham, Jet Li, Mickey Rourke and Dolph Lundgren, Robert Luketic’s action comedy “Killers,” “Saw VII in 3D” and “Conan 3D.”
