Levison will oversee the production shingle’s development for TV, film and digital platforms. Fishbowl was formed in January by producer Vin Di Bona and former Disney and WMA exec Bruce Gersh with the goal of working with advertisers and other non-traditional sources of production funding to field an ambitious range of projects (Daily Variety, Jan. 20).

Levison spent most of the past decade as a development exec at Fox Broadcasting, working on comedy, drama and alternative projects ranging from “The Cleveland Show” to “House” to “American Idol.” She exited the network last year (Daily Variety, May 14).

Gersh, who is prexy and CEO of Fishbowl, cited Levison’s track record and strong relationships in the creative community in announcing the appointment.

“Susan has been a risk taker in primetime TV where others have played it safe,” Gersh said. “With her intuitive sense of the industry and her ground-breaking approach to projects, she fits perfectly into Fishbowl’s culture of experimentation and innovation.”
