The Kaplan Stahler Agency is beefing up its ranks by hiring a trio of agents: Melissa Campbell and Lisa Pollack in the alternative department and Katie Cates in scripted fare.

Campbell, who began her Hollywood career at Plum Prods., segued to the tenpercentery world in 2005 by joining the Gersh Agency, where she gravitated toward reality producers and talent.

Pollack most recently oversaw the development department at Motion Picture Production as VP of nonscripted programming and development. She also did stints at LMNO Prods. and GRB Entertainment, where she created “Super Swank” for the Travel Channel and worked on such reality shows as “Intervention” and “Growing Up Gotti.”

Cates started her career in daytime TV at TeleVest Prods. She spent the last three years working in the TV lit department at Gersh.

The Kaplan Stahler boutique, headed by partners Mitch Kaplan and Elliot Stahler, has been in biz for nearly 30 years.
