Jane Fonda is starring in French comedy “Et si on vivait tous ensemble” (“And If We All Lived Together”) her first French film since Jean-Luc Godard’s “Tout va bien” in 1972.
Pic, from Canal Plus, is a French-German co-production directed by Stephane Robelin. Story centers on five old friends who decide to move in together to avoid going to a retirement home along with a young German ethnology student who’s preparing a thesis about the aging population.
Fonda is playing an American woman who’s lived in France for a long time and bonds with the young student.
Following this film, she will begin production on “Peace, Love, and Misunderstanding,” the Bruce Beresford-helmed indie also starring Catherine Keener and Chace Crawford. Movie follows a Gotham lawyer (Keener) who retreats to the farmhouse owned by her hippie mother (Fonda) after her husband asks for a divorce.

In “Shazam!,” Zachary Levi brings off something so winning it’s irresistible. He plays a square-jawed, rippling-muscled man of might, with a cheesy Day-Glo lighting bolt affixed to his chest, who projects an insanely wholesome and old-fashioned idea of what a superhero can be. But he’s also playing a breathless teenage kid on the inside, and [...]
