Screen Gems has tapped Sony Pictures Entertainment creative advertising vet Loren Schwartz for the post of exec VP of marketing.
Schwartz will oversee the creation of trailers, posters, TV advertisements and other marketing materials.
He most recently served as senior VP of creative advertising at Sony.
He’s worked on campaigns for “Superbad,” “Grown Ups,” “Paul Blart Mall Cop” and “50 First Dates” during his 14 years at Sony.
Before joining Sony, Schwartz was manager of creative advertising at Fox Searchlight for two years. He began his career at Trimark Pictures.Upcoming titles from Screen Gems includes “Takers,” “Resident Evil: Afterlife,” “Country Strong,” “Easy A,” “Priest,” “The Roomate” and “Burlesque.”
