Kobe Bryant will be the focus of a social game co-produced by Endemol USA and 6waves.

Endemol USA will secure sponsorships and brand integrations, while 6waves, one of largest social-gaming publishers, manages development and distribution on social networking and gaming sites.

The appeal of the game will be tied to the opportunity to win real prizes like Bryant-autographed memorabilia or tickets to Lakers games. Bryant himself will play an important role in creative development of the game.

“This is an unprecedented opportunity to transform the world of social games,” said Rex Ng, CEO and co-founder of 6waves. “While social games are incredibly popular, they have never included a global entertainment icon such as Kobe Bryant. Social gaming is still a fairly young platform, and we are going to completely change the experience for the player.” Bryant and Endemol USA announced a deal in August to produce “Dream Makers: Kobe Bryant,” a multi-platform wish-fulfillment series of eight webisodes set at the Kobe Bryant Basketball Academy in the Philippines.
