The blog bog gets a little thicker.

Wetpaint.com, which launched this week, hosts 15 blogs for 15 popular skeins, becoming the latest Web startup aimed at giving fans a way to keep up with their favorite shows.

Each blog aggregates posts from various sites and sources to create a one-stop shop for news on shows like “Glee,” “Gossip Girl” and “Dancing With the Stars.” Think the Huffington Post meets Facebook fan pages. Most of the blogs are aimed at the female 18 -34 demo, with covered series also including “Jersey Shore,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and “The Bachelor.”

Founder Ben Elowitz and his colleagues have conducted research on Web searches and found that viewers search for info online the day after a new episode has aired.

The site, which has mobile versions in development, relies on fair use to co-opt popular Net brands, pulling content from other blogs, Twitter and Facebook posts, and providing original articles about show trends and fashions. It is monetized via sidebar advertising.

Venture is backed by firms Accel Partners, which also invests in Facebook, and Trinity Ventures.
