The combined audience total for President Obama's speech on Iraq is coming, but Fox News already has the info on the victor among the cable networks.

Its coverage of the 19-minute speech drew 2.9 million total viewers, compared to 1.3 million for MSNBC and 988,000 for CNN. The post address analysis moderated by Bret Baier climed to 3.4 million. Fox News also was ahead in audiences 25-54.

Update: According to Nielsen, 29 million watched Obama's speech across all networks. That was down 9% from his June 15 Oval Office address on the gulf oil spill and 28% from his Dec. 1 speech on his plan for Afghanistan.
