Haim Saban for Meg Whitman?

The longtime Democratic donor just chipped in the maximum $25,900 for Republican Meg Whitman's gubernatorial bid.

But Saban backed Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2006 over rival Phil Angelides, joining with Steven Spielberg and Jeffrey Katzenberg that year to support Schwarzenegger's bid for a second term.
