Court Denies Effort to Ban Cameras from Prop 8 Trial

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals just issued a ruling denying an effort to ban a camera from coverage of the Prop 8 trial.

The court said that the proponents of Prop 8 "have not demonstrated" that it warranted their intervening in the decision of U.S. District Judge Vaughn Walker to allow cameras.

Proponents had sought to delay televised coverage of the trial unless they could get a last-minute ruling from the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
