BERLIN — Andre Techine’s upcoming drama “Terminus des Anges,” starring Andre Dussollier and Melanie Thierry, and Philippe Garrel’s “J’ai garde les Anges” (I’ve Kept the Angels), with Monica Bellucci and Louis Garrel, are among 14 European co-productions to land backing from subsidy org Eurimages.

Eurimages has slated a total of E4.58 million ($6.2 million) in its latest round of funding.

Also awarded support was Israeli director Eran Riklis’ “Playoff,” about an Israeli basketball coach who escaped Nazi persecution in his native Germany but returned years later to train West Germany’s national basketball team.

Co-produced by Berlin-based Egoli Tossell, “Playoff” has already received north of $1.5 million from German subsidy orgs.

Other funding recipients included Dominik Moll’s French-Spanish co-production “Le Moine”; Slovakian helmer Zuzana Liova’s “The House”; Sylvain Estibal’s “Le Cochon de Gaza”; “The Maiden Danced to Death” from Hungarian director Endre Hules; Pal Sletaune’s “BabyCall”; and Bujar Alimani’s “Amnesty.”

Additionally, Eurimages also granted support to Tolga Ornek’s Turkish-German drama “Labirent”; Baltasar Kormakur’s “The Deep”; Irina Maldea’s documentary “Wonderland”; Jens Lien’s “Teori og Praksis” and Michale Boganim’s “La Terre outragee.”
