LONDON — Edward and Rory McHenry’s “Jackboots on Whitehall,” which features the voices of Ewan McGregor, Rosamund Pike, Richard E. Grant and Timothy Spall, will open London’s 18th Raindance Film Festival.

Closer is Iraqi pic “Son of Babylon,” helmed by Mohamed Al Daradji, which has been submitted for this year’s Oscars.

Jury includes advertising mogul Charles Saatchi; “Shaun of the Dead” and “Elizabeth” producer Alison Owen; Alfred Hitchcock sound producer Ernie Marsh; “The Mighty Boosh” comedian Julian Barratt; Warp Films topper Mark Herbert; and Motorhead’s Lemmy.

The lineup of Blighty’s leading indie fest includes 77 features, 69 U.K. preems and more than 133 shorts with live events, Q&As and masterclasses. Fest will also showcase controversial and extreme filmmaking from across the globe including an uncut screening of “A Serbian Film,” which caused controversy over its rape and pedophilic scenes, and gay zombie porn pic “La Zombie.”

This year’s fest runs from Sept. 29-Oct. 10.
