Lorber Films has picked up U.S. rights to Michelangelo Frammartino’s Italian pic “Le quattro volte,” currently making the rounds of North American film fests.
Recently screened at the Telluride Film Festival prior to slots in Toronto and New York, “Le quattro volte” will open its U.S. theatrical run at Gotham’s Film Forum before heading out to select cities.
Film traces the relationship between man and nature as evidenced in the daily life of a small rural town in Italy.
Distribution deal was negotiated by Kino Lorber co-prexy Richard Lorber and the Coproduction Office’s Fionnuala Jamison.
“Le quattro volte” joins a string of recent and upcoming Lorber releases including “Genius Within: The Inner Life of Glenn Gould,” “The Army of Crime” and “Salt of This Sea.”
