CBS brews up marketing campaign

Network ties in free java with hit shows

CBS is brewing up a marketing campaign for its hit comedies “How I Met Your Mother” and “The Big Bang Theory” that will put promos for the shows on coffee sleeves distribbed to college campuses around the country.

CBS Marketing Group is sponsoring the coffee promo, which hopes to reach over 1 million college students nationwide.

The promotion will feature CBS branded coffee sleeves of the hit skeins, as well as events such as “free coffee day,” which will dole out free java to caffeine junkies.

The campaign kicked off in January and will run through to the end of March.

BriteVision Media is working with CBS on the promotion through Café Network.
