Peter Chernin’s unnamed production shingle continues to add executives, with former NBC drama exec Lauren Stein the latest to sign on.

The move reunites Stein with Katherine Pope, Chernin’s head of TV and Stein’s former boss at the Peacock’s Universal Media Studios production arm. Stein will shepherd TV drama development for the Fox-based company.

Stein joined NBC as a programming exec in 2002 before shifting to the production side, last serving as veep of drama programming for Universal Media Studios. She left the Peacock as part of the exec shakeup in December that also saw Pope exit as prexy of Universal Media Studios.

Stein’s hire comes on the heels of last week’s appointment of former Apatow Prods. head of development Nicky Weinstock as senior veep of comedy (Daily Variety, Aug. 13).
