In the first major talent signing since WMA and Endeavor agreed to tie the knot, WME Entertainment has landed “Lost” star Matthew Fox.
The signing was engineered by the soon-to-merge agencies’ star talent reps, WMA’s Ed Limato and Endeavor’s Patrick Whitesell, along with WMA’s Michael Cooper.
Fox had been repped by ICM, where he had been associated with Limato before the latter left to join WMA.
WME will guide Fox as he focuses on a feature career that will really get going once he completes the sixth and final season of ABC’s “Lost,” which begins shooting in Hawaii in late summer.
Fox, who has had roles in “Speed Racer,” “Vantage Point” and “We Are Marshall” during his hiatus from the series over the past few years, did not do a movie during the current break, though Warner Bros. continues to develop the graphic novel “Billy Smoke” as a star vehicle for him.
Fox continues to be repped by Management 360 and attorney Craig Jacobson.
