Paramount Digital Entertainment has enlisted former Live Planet executive Keith Quinn to mobilize production of original content.
Quinn will serve as senior VP of creative development and production at the Par arm that creates videogames and entertainment properties primarily for the Internet, cell phones and other Web-enabled handheld devices.
He reports to Thomas Lesinski, prexy of PDE.
“PDE’s mission is to enlist top creative talent, capitalize on innovative distribution options and deliver new ways for audiences to enjoy entertainment,” Quinn said.
Over the years, Qunn has established himself as producer of entertainment content that can be distribbed across multiple platforms. Last year, he formed Agility Studios with Scott Ehrlich and former LivePlanet head Larry Tanz, where he oversaw programming and production there. It recently announced “Ultradome,” a digital video series with “Heroes”-star Milo Ventimiglia.
Before that, Quinn was senior VP of development and production at Live Planet, behind the “Project Greenlight” film competish. He’s also worked in business development for Mark Burnett Prods.
“Keith is a sharp and creative executive with a vast array of industry experience,” Lesinski said.
