Orgs team for new arts initiative

NFF, MetLife Foundation team on grants

The Nonprofit Finance Fund and MetLife Foundation have teamed up for an initiative that offers financial training to arts orgs, including Theater Communications Group.

Through a MetLife grant of $380,000, NFF will furnish members of TCG, Dance/USA and the League of American Orchestras with financial guidance, tools and supportto help them weather the recent financial downturn.

NFF is a national org devoted to the development of nonprofits. Last fall, NFF and the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation handed out more than $15 million to arts nonprofits supporting the exploration of new business practices and models.
