Sci-fi writer Ben Bova’s B-Four Prods. has teamed up with Red Giant Media to develop Bova’s own “The Immortality Factor” for feature adaptation.
Red Giant principal and “The Negotiator” scribe Kevin Fox will write the screenplay, with Fox, Isen Robbins and Aimee Schoof producing for Red Giant and Grant Turck producing for B-Four.
“Factor” follows two brothers, one a scientist and one a medical doctor, divided over stem-cell research but united by the need to save the life of a woman they both love.
The book, published by Tor in April, is the uncut version of Bova’s 1996 thriller “Brothers.”
Mike Sword on behalf of Red Giant and Barbara Bova on behalf of B-Four negotiated the deal.
