Negotiators for showbiz companies and Local 399 of the Intl. Brotherhood of Teamsters have reached a tentative three-year deal for about 440 location scouts, managers and assistants.

Three days of talks concluded Friday evening at the Encino headquarters of the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers. The current deal runs out on Saturday.

Neither side had any comment about terms. The location managers will meet Thursday to vote on the pact.

Location scouts and managers are among the first below-the-line crew members to be hired on many feature and TV projects.
