Reveille is launching a Web series on MSN for sponsor Post Grape Nuts that will star ESPN personality Kenny Mayne.
The 50-episode original Web series, titled “The Guy’s Manual” and running exclusively on MSN over the next eight months, will feature Mayne giving advice to men on how to get to achieve difficult tasks. Episodes include “Landing a Date With the Cute Girl at the Office” and “Taking Your Fiancee’s Poodle for a Morning Jog.”
Each episode will come with the tagline “That Takes Grape Nuts.”
Ad giant Ogilvy helped create the series in partnership with Reveille. Josh Bycel, co-exec producer on USA Network’s “Psych,” serves as showrunner.
The Grape Nuts ad campaign will include print, radio and Internet banner adds that will drive webizens to MSN to view the series.
