Singapore to see ‘Lion King’

Tuner set for the yet-to-open Marina Bay Sands

“The Lion King” gets a Singapore outpost next year, when the Rialto longrunner begins perfs at the yet-to-open resort Marina Bay Sands.

BASE Entertainment and Marina Bay will bring over the import, set to open in September.

Singapore edition reps the latest international incarnation of a show already running in Tokyo, Paris, Hamburg and London, where the tuner recently celebrated its 10th year on the Blighty boards. Stateside, the show is playing in Vegas and on a national tour, in addition to the Rialto original.
