PARIS — Atlantic Media Production has inked a pact with TV presenter Michel Drucker, founder and prexy of Studio Gabriel.
The pair have launched joint venture SGPM, which will grant AMP access to Studio Gabriel, a 7,660 sq. ft. facility located in central Paris.
Drucker will become SGPM prexy, and will retain a controlling stake in Studio Gabriel. The CEO of AMP, Gilles Salle, will become SGPM general director.
Financial terms of the deal remain confidential.
Located in central Paris, Studio Gabriel is used to shoot some of France’s most-watched talkshows and general interest programs, including pubcaster France 2’s “Vivement Dimanche,” which has been hosted by Drucker since 1998.
Other programs shot at the site include current events show “Ripostes” and cultural skein “Ca Balance a Paris.”
AMP owns four television studios near Paris — Studios 107, Paris Sud, Studios Rive Gauche and Studio des Lilas.
