Despite a biting chill in the Westwood air Monday night, Fox paraded 27 women wearing white strapless dresses to match the poster for “27 Dresses” at the pic’s preem.

The after-party at the Napa Valley Grille (natch), gathered most of the pic’s collaborators, including helmer Anne Fletcher, scribe Aline Brosh McKenna, Fox 2000 prexy Elizabeth Gabler, Spyglass toppers Gary Barber and Roger Birnbaum, and thesps Katherine Heigl, Ed Burns and Judy Greer.

Brosh McKenna confirmed that the pic was inspired by her friend and TV exec Kate Adler, who was also on hand. “It’s really a love letter to those amazing friends, the people-pleasers,” the scribe said.

For Heigl, “27 Dresses” was simply the funniest script she’d read among a glut of wedding-themed projects she’d been considering. “This is the one that made me laugh out loud as I was reading it in my living room.”
