UTA TV lit agents Dan Erlij and Larry Salz have been named partners at the agency.
Tenpercenters, who rep a bevy of showrunners and scribes, are the sixth and seventh TV agents with partner status. With their promotions, UTA now has a total of 18 partners.
“Their instincts for identifying truly gifted artists, their ability to build exceptional careers for clients, and their great taste in material have been enormous assets to the agency,” UTA’s partners said in a statement announcing the promotions.
Elevation comes following the departure of three UTA partners over the weekend, as well as rampant speculation that partner Sue Naegle could be in line to take over series development at HBO’s entertainment division.
Erlij joined UTA in 1996 as a member of the agency’s training program. He had previously been a litigator at a Gotham law firm
Salz joined the UTA training program in 1994 and was upped to agent in 1996.
