LONDON — Ynon Kreiz, CEO of global production giant Endemol, has been lined up to deliver one of the keynote speeches at the Mip TV program bazaar, which runs March 30 to April 3 in Cannes.
Kreiz took over the reins of the shingle, whose entertainment formats include “Big Brother,” “Wipeout,” “Deal or No Deal” and “1 vs. 100,” earlier this year.
Prior to joining the company, he worked as an investor in the media industry. Between 2005 and 2007, he was a partner at venture capital firm Balderton Capital, where he served on the boards of Setanta Sports and Codemasters.
Between 1997 and 2002, Kreiz was chairman and CEO of Fox Kids Europe, which he co-founded with Haim Saban in 1996.
Mip TV is run by Reed Midem, part of Reed Elsevier, which publishes Variety.
