“Meteor” shot over the summer in Los Angeles and central California. RHI will unveil it, together with another event miniseries, “Dragons of Black Roc,” at the Mipcom mart in Cannes, which kicks off Oct. 13.

“Major European broadcasters are looking for major event fiction for primetime. And, unlike most movies, original miniseries come fresh to audiences,” said Joel Denton, RHI prexy of production and distribution.

RHI will also reveal footage of “The Last Templar,” the four-hour, $20 million movie that RHI founder Robert Halmi is co-exec producing for NBC, based on Raymond Khoury’s bestseller.
