Interpret names Aric Ackerman COO

Exec joins media and technology research firm

Aric Ackerman has been tapped chief operating officer at media and technology research firm Interpret.

The former CEO of L.A. Studios and executive at production shop @radical.media will oversee business development, finance, legal and operations for the company to help entertainment and vidgame companies plan, test and measure their media strategies.

Ackerman will also be responsible for identifying acquisitions and strategic partnerships as Interpret expands.

He reports to company CEO Michael Dowling.

Ackerman spent eight years, first as chief financial officer and then as COO of @radical.media before serving as chief exec of L.A. Studios. He’s also consulted for PricewaterhouseCoopers and Accenture.
