Fox is giving reality skein “Secret Millionaire” a brief holiday-season run.
“Secret Millionaire” will bow Dec. 3 with a two-hour episode, followed by four additional airings: Dec. 10 and 17, and Dec. 11 and 18, all at 9 p.m.
That means Wednesday comedies “‘Til Death” and “Do Not Disturb” will be pre-empted for three weeks in December (while “Bones” is off that first week). As for those two Thursdays, “Kitchen Nightmares” will move down to 8 p.m., pre-empting “The Moment of Truth.”
“Secret Millionaire” revolves around wealthy individuals who go undercover to experience what it’s like to live poor in America. At the end, the millionaires reveal who they really are and award $100,000 of their own money to the people they’ve met and feel are most deserving.
RDF USA is behind the show; Chris Coelen, Greg Goldman and Bruce Toms are exec producers.
