Mitchell Wolk has been named president of Alternative Distribution Alliance, Warner Music Group’s independent distribution company.
Wolk will lead the company while ADA chairman Andy Allen focuses on WMG’s global independent music strategy.
An executive VP, Wolk has been with ADA since 2005 and has been responsible for the company’s managerial, financial, business development and administrative operations.
Prior to joining WMG, Wolk held a series of senior management positions at RED Distribution, the independent music distribution division of Sony BMG Music Entertainment, including the position of senior vice president, Finance and Administration.
Alternative Distribution Alliance, recognized as the leading distributor of independent record labels, handling imprints such as Sub Pop, Matador, Epitaph, Domino, Fueled by Ramen and Saddle Creek.
