NEW YORK — The road got a 3.2% bump in Week 17 (Sept. 15-21), bringing the total gross for the 12-show slate to $11,183,988, despite the fact that “The Color Purple” went on layoff.

The touring production of “Wicked” topped the charts in Pittsburgh, breaking the house record again with $1,583,889.

That touring prod of “Wicked” and “Avenue Q,” both saw six-figure boosts in what was generally a week of upticks.
