Romano steps into ‘Avenue Q’

Her stint kicks off September 29

Christy Carlson Romano steps into “Avenue Q” later this month, playing the puppet roles of Kate Monster and Lucy, both originated by Stephanie D’Abruzzo.

Romano has cultivated a tween-age fanbase thanks to her work in Disney properties including “Kim Possible” (in which she voiced the title role) and “Even Stevens.” She recently appeared on the Rialto in “Beauty and the Beast.”

Romano kicks off her stint with “Avenue Q” Sept. 29.
