‘Legally Blonde,’ ‘Wicked’ big earners

NEW YORK — The road saw an 18.1% dip in Week 28 (Dec. 1-7), bringing the total gross for the 13-show slate to $10,704,656.

In a week when most shows saw downturns, “Legally Blonde” had some good news: the production nearly doubled it’s previous week’s gross with $1,063,838 from its first eight perfs in Philly.

“Monty Python’s Spamalot” did not report from Sioux City, Iowa, this week.

The Minneapolis production of “Wicked” brought in the week’s highest gross with $1,477,117.
