King Judd will headline a stage show that will include standup perfs by Seth Rogen, Russell Brand, Craig Robinson, Charlyne Yi and Mike O’Connell, among others. Event will take place July 18 at midnight at Metropolis.


Just for Laughs ups the wattage of its motion picture showcase this year with an advance screening of “Pineapple Express” attended by producer Apatow, actor and co-writer Rogen, co-writer Evan Goldberg and co-star Danny McBride. The July 10 opening film will be Gallic comedy “Asterix and the Olympic Games,” and the closer on July 20 is Fox’s “The Rocker,” a comedy about a drummer for a 1980s hair band starring “The Office’s” Rainn Wilson. The other Fox movie at the fest is “Space Chimps,” an animated pic featuring the voice of “SNL’s” Andy Samberg.


Just for Laughs has long featured a strong international talent showcase, and this year is no exception. Multi-night headliners will include not only Brits like Brand, Craig Ferguson and David O’Doherty, but also Australia’s Brendon Burns.
