BERLIN — Yoko Higuchi-Zitzmann, head of licensing at Constantin Film, will be ankling her post and moving to Telepool to oversee acquisitions and sales for German-speaking territories in January.
Higuchi-Zitzmann has been at Constantin since 2003 and before that served as acquisitions manager for Munich-based distrib Prokino Filmverleih.
Move reps the further development and expansion of Telepool’s activities in acquisitions and sales in German-speaking territories.
Higuchi-Zitzmann will report directly to Telepool CEO Thomas Weymar, who described her as “one of the most distinguished and respected personalities working in international sales and acquisition today,” adding that she “and her extraordinarily well established network” would be hugely beneficial to Telepool.
A leading European distributor, Telepool handles all free TV rights for German-speaking Europe to productions from DreamWorks as well as international sales for leading German commercial broadcaster RTL Television.
