IFC picks up ‘Heaven’s Heart’

Film was produced by Jonas Frederiksen

IFC has bought U.S. rights to Danish helmer Simon Staho’s drama “Heaven’s Heart,” shot in Sweden.

Pic, which was produced by Jonas Frederiksen for Trollhattan Film/XX Film, was sold by TrustNordisk.

“Heaven’s Heart” had its international premiere at the Berlinale and recently played at San Sebastian.

It has already sold to Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Hungary and Australia.

Staho is in production on “The Warriors of Love,” which will open in 2009.
