Terry Curtin has been tapped prexy of theatrical marketing at Hollywood ad shop Cimarron Group.

She most recently served as CEO and creative director at Intralink Film Graphic Design, where she worked on campaigns for pics “The Kite Runner,” “American Gangster,” “The Da Vinci Code” and “Iron Man.”

Curtin joined that company in 2004 after spending two years at Revolution Studios as prexy of marketing and distribution. She’s also done stints in the marketing departments at Universal, Disney and 20th Century Fox.

“Terry is an incredible talent whose knowledge, imagination, and creativity are much admired across the industry,” said Robert Farina, founder of Cimarron Group.

Curtin will be working closely with Cimarron Group founder Robert Farina in planning the company’s future expansion and growth.

She will also work closely with Geoff Calnan, who has been upped to senior VP of domestic theatrical audio visual, to expand that division at the company.

Cimarron creates marketing materials for studios. In addition to film campaigns, it also does work for such clients as Cirque du Soleil, the Coca-Cola Co., Fox, the Santa Barbara Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and Sony Corp.

Earlier this year, Cimarron expanded into traditional advertising, launching the Traffic Agency, through which it landed Mitsubishi and Toyota Financial Services as clients.
