SAG draws for nominating committee

Group will be broken up into film, TV sections

The Screen Actors Guild will randomly draw the names of 4,200 members on April 22 to be a part of the nominating committee for the 15th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Committee will be divided into film and TV sections, each consisting of 2,100 SAG members from around the country. To be eligible, SAG members may not have served on the same committee in the past three years and must have paid their November 2007 membership dues by April 14.

Submissions for nominations consideration for the awards will be open on July 14 at www.sagawards.org/submissions.

Noms will be announced Dec. 18 at the Pacific Design Center Silverscreen Theater in West Hollywood, and the award ceremony will be held Jan. 25 at the Shrine Auditorium and air on both TNT and TBS.
